BURGER PLANET ADDS NEW MENU ITEMS
Jayne Petersen, health guru, endorses Burger Planet’s new menu

GARY, IN.—Customers have even more menu choices, many of them healthy, when it comes to ordering food at Burger Planet. Jayne Petersen, health guru, is endorsing the new menu alongside Burger Planet’s beloved mascot, Corny the Clown. From May to July, they will travel across the country teaching people about making healthier food choices.

Petersen, President and CEO of Looking Glass, Inc., is the popular health expert who helped Opal Whitcomb lose 75 pounds and keep it off. Her diets allow women to eat anything, with moderation and 20 minutes of walking being the key to success.

“Burger Planet is committed to offering healthy choices on its menu. The hiring of Jayne Petersen fits perfectly in the company's overall focus on healthy lifestyles,” says James E. Muellenbach III, company CEO.

Petersen believes Burger Planets options of fruit packages, gourmet salads and white meat Chicken breasts, is what makes it such a popular Quick Service Restaurant.

“Burger Planet has been a leader in the Quick Service Restaurant industry in offering healthy menu choices. The company believes in encouraging customers to live healthier, active lifestyles and I have spent my life trying to teach women that lesson,” said Petersen in an interview.

While working with Burger Planet’s chefs, Petersen has come up with new menu ideas. Adults will soon have the option of an adult Burger Planet Smiley Meal, complete with an ankle weight, fruit package and white mean Chicken entrée.

Founded in 1934 by James E. Muellenback I, Burger Planet has served 52 billion customers and counting. Headquartered in Gary, Indiana, there are 8,921 franchises in every state and 17 countries.

  1. So I believe Indiana is abbreviated Indi. not just IN. Also, your last paragraph before the boilerplate has a typo, you have "white mean chicken entree" and I think you mean "white lean chicken entree". I liked it though!

  2. I personally like my chicken mean. Anyway, It was very clear and simple, with lots of info if I was writing a story from this release. check the spelling of Mullenbach in the boiler plate. Also you may want to revise the phrase "many of them healthy" because it sheds a bad light on the rest of the menu.
